Speakers 2009: Ann-Christine Nyquist MD, MSPH
Born in Helsinki, Finland, Dr. Nyquist has practiced pediatric medicine in the United States since 1987. She graduated from the University of Michigan with her MD in 1987 and received her MSPH from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, in 1997. Amongst her many achievements, Dr. Nyquist was Chief Resident, Pediatrics, at UCLA, and has authored, published and reviewed numerous articles. She currently holds two academic appointments at the University of Colorado School of Medicine: Association Professor, Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology, Department of Pedicatrics; and, Associate Professor, Preventive Medicine / Biometrics.
