Speakers 2009: Tamara Kirk, MBA, CCP, RPA, CEBS, SPHR
Tamara Kirk manages employee benefits for Colorado Springs Utilities and is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies that promote health and wellbeing with value based benefits designs. She received her MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver and holds several professional HR designations including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), the International Foundation's Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), and World at Work, Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). She's worked in the HR field for several years in both the private and public sectors. She currently serves as president of the Colorado Business Group on Health (CBGH), a coalition of employers working together to advance the purchaser role to improve healthcare quality.
