Speakers 2007: David Brody, MD

David Brody, MD is Medical Director for Denver Health Medical Plan. He received his MD from Temple University School of Medicine in 1973 and completed his residency at University Hospitals, Cleveland, Ohio. During his residency he was awarded a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar Fellowship and later was the recipient of a Summer Medical Ethics Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Dr. Brody has held numerous academic posts including: Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, Temple University School of Medicine (tenured June 1992); Clinical Professor of Medicine, Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine; and today holds a position as Professor of Medicine at University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine and has been a member of many advisory committees for both local and national government and public and private institutions. Dr. Brody is well-published, having 41 original articles to his credit in addition to book chapters, reviews and editorials.
