Speakers 2007: Raymond J. Zastrow, MD
Raymond J. Zastrow, MD received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1983. He completed his Family Practice residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 1986, and returned to Milwaukee where he worked in private practice with various divisions of Advanced Healthcare. Inl February 2006 he assumed the role of Associate Corporate Medical Director for QuadMed. QuadMed provides on-site, employer-directed primary care and wellness to Quad/Graphics and several other large employers. Dr. Zastrow is responsible for clinical quality oversight, clinical process re-designs including deployment of GE Centricity electronic medical records, and assists with healthcare benefit design for Quad/Graphics. In addition, he teaches Healthcare Decision Support at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Master of Science in Medical Informatics graduate degree program. Dr. Zastrow helped implement the EpicCare Electronic Medical Record system at Advanced Healthcare. He has served on physician advisory panels for Epic Systems Corporation, McKesson Corporation and Ameritech Health Connections.
