Speakers 2008: Peter Hayes
Peter Hayes is the Director of Healthcare Strategy for Hannaford Bros. Co. in Scarborough, Maine. Peter has worked for Hannaford Bros. for nearly 25 years and has managed healthcare for almost 10. The balance of Peter’s tenure was spent working in various accounting and financial areas of responsibility. Over the last five years Hannaford Bros. has received numerous national awards in recognition of the company’s commitment to working collaboratively with healthcare providers and vendors in delivering health benefits that are focused on quality. Peter cofounded the Maine Health Management Coalition and served on Governor Baldacci’s “Health Action Team” to advise his administration on health reform. Peter is a graduate of Bowdoin College.
